When the management of Alsteel identified the need for some Trading companies in the areas of expertise of its management and started exploring them. The management of Alsteel started building its expertise in 1983 in Italy, Turkey, South Africa and Russia. Over the years this expertise expanded into Ukraine, China and former CIS countries specially Kazakhstan. The management was involved in trading , ship brokerage, and also invested in resource developments in manganese ore, iron ore , rare earth minerals as well as ferro alloy production.
